Why is Alpemix Service used?

- It ensures instant access to unattended computers.

- Even if the windows user name is not authorized when you connect to this computer via service, you can access to all screens with full authority.

- You can access to Windows user name and password screen that appears at boot-up.

- You can deploy to all computers in your network with Group Policy. ( Detailed information )

Alpemix Service Installation Options

What is the difference of installation options?

1- Installation with sub user name:

Previously different sub user names and passwords must be created for each computers. You complete the installation by entering the username and password that you created for that computer.

After installation when you login with your user name from other computer, you see this user name as online. You can connect to that computer at any time using the password for this username.

When the computer on which the service is installed is shut down or the internet connection goes off, you see this user name as offline.

2- Installation with group password:

Instead of creating a username and password for each computer, create a group with password in advance. Installation is done by entering the same group name and password for each computer. At the installation, you can also write a separate expression for each computer in the name section that will appear on the list.

After installation when you log in with your user name from other computer, you see that computer as online under passworded group that you created. At any time you want, you can connect to all computers these under that group with same group password.

When the computer on which the service is installed is shut down or the internet connection goes off, that computer is deleted from your list. When it is online again, it is shown again under the passworded group.

3- Installation with ID / Password option:

Computers that made installation with this option you can not access at any time. Or you can not see as online on your list.

When you connect to computers these windows user name is not authorized, it ensures able to access all screens with full authority.

It adds tray icon after installation. It does not connect to the servers.

When the user wants to get support, they double click on this icon to start the application. And transmits the ID and Password to support staff. ID and password are not fixed.

Who Can Use the Service Application?

Your company must have at least 1 pro user right to install with options 1 or 2. Option 3 can also be used by free users.

Before and After Installation:

1- Installation with sub user name:  

Login with your main user name from your computer. ( In this example our main user name is Alpemix. You will use your registered main user name. )

And add a user name to the customers group.

Then go to computer that you want to install service and download AlpemixService.exe file from alpemix.com download section.

Copy this file to C:\ and run. When the contract window appears, pass with start option. Then service selection window appears. Continue with OK button.

Enter your main user name, sub username and password in the form that appears on the screen and click the login button. The installation is completed in this way. Tray icon is added to lower right section.

Get up from this computer and go to your own computer. If you have shut down Alpemix, run it and log back in with your main username. You will see the service installed as online on your list. Double click on this user name. Click the lock icon on the top right of the window that opens. If you type the password for this username in this partition and press the OK button and you are connected to that computer.

2- Installation with group password:

Login with your main user name from your computer. ( In this example our main user name is Alpemix. You will use your registered main user name. )

Add a group to the customers section. Then right click this group and select "add group password" option and set a password.

Then go to computer that you want to install service and download AlpemixService.exe file from alpemix.com download section.

Copy this file to C:\ and run. When the contract window appears, pass with start option. Then service selection window appears. Select second option and continue with OK button.

Enter your main user name, group name, group password and any name in the form that appears on the screen and click the login button. The installation is completed in this way. Tray icon is added to lower right section.

Get up from this computer and go to your own computer. If you have shut down Alpemix, run it and log back in with your main username. You will see the service installed as online on your list. Double click on this user name. Click the lock icon on the top right of the window that opens. If you type the group password in this partition and press the OK button and you are connected to that computer.

3- Installation with ID / Password option:

You do not have to do anything in advance to use this service type, as it is in the other two options.

Go to computer that you want to install service and download AlpemixService.exe file from alpemix.com download section.

Copy this file to C:\ and run. When the contract window appears, pass with start option. Then service selection window appears. When you select third option and press OK button it ask you main user name. When you enter your company's main username and press OK button the installation is complete.

When the installation complate tray icon is added to lower right section. When the user wants to get support, they double click on this icon to start the application. And transmits the ID and Password to support staff.
